Rico Argentine Mine, Silver Creek, Rico District (Pioneer District), Dolores Co., Colorado, USA

10.2 x 9.5 x 4.0 cm. Bravoite was the name given to an uncommon nickeloan variety of pyrite and this showy, old-time, Colorado cabinet specimen is from a very uncommon locale - the Rico Argentine Mine at Rico. Rico, Rico District (Pioneer District), Dolores Co., Colorado, USA

A superbly crystallized pyrite specimen for this mining district! The specimen is comprised of a grouping of slightly elongated brassy crystals measuring 4.5 x 4.2 x 7.3 cm in size overall; completely crystallized all around with no points of attachment.
