Anglesite : PbSO4

Touissit, Touissit District, Oujda-Angad Province, Oriental Region, Morocco

A beautiful, pristine, sharp, lemon-yellow anglesite crystal with a little matrix. The left edge is a bit rough, but that is a weird natural crystallization oddity and there is no damage. Note how INCREDIBLY GEMMY the tip is! it is like clear glass! The termination is perfect and intricately multifaceted . Note that both front and back pics of the ...

Anglesite : PbSO4

Touissit, Touissit District, Oujda-Angad Province, Oriental Region, Morocco

COLOR! This rather large, freestanding, complete, and GEMMY crystal is a superb miniature form the most famous finds of anglesite at this mine in the early 1980s when they were brought out by Victor Yount. It is complete and undamaged, truly gemmy and transparent throughout, and has that rich and desirable color! Note also the complex bevelled ...

Anglesite : PbSO4

Touissit, Touissit District, Oujda-Angad Province, Oriental Region, Morocco

A dramatic, phantomed, gemmy crystal of anglesite from finds of the 1960s, seldom seen today! It has an internal fracture, but is not broken and repaired. The sharp phantoming, the 3-dimensional chisel-like termination, and the superior gemminess make this a significatn large crystal for the finds. 7.2 x 5.5 x 2.9 cm

2.1 x 1.3 x 0.4 cm. A superb, gemmy, spear point-shaped, canary-yellow to colorless anglesite crystal from the famous late 1970s-early 80s finds at Touissit, Morocco. We at first considered this to be one of the bleached anglesites (a notorious mineral fraud of the early 1980s), at first glance, that reached the market soon after this major find. ...

Anglesite : PbSO4

Touissit, Touissit District, Oujda-Angad Province, Oriental Region, Morocco

This anglesite specimen is transparent, lustrous, pastel yellow; and is highlighted by a anglesite crystal jutting out from the main crystal. There are minor abrasions and wilburs which should be expected on such a soft mineral but overall it is in fine shape. This would date from the famous finds of the late 1970s. 5.4 x 2.7 x 1.3 cm
