Camp Bird Mine, Ouray, Sneffels District (Mount Sneffels District), Ouray Co., Colorado, USA 6.8 x 5.9 x 4.6 cm. An elegant combo piece collected by Bill Hatch when he was collecting specimens at the Camp Bird Mine in the late 70s. It features poker-chip calcites to 2.3 cm (though fatter than what would usually be called poker chip crystals) on a matrix of small fluorite cubes and microcrystalline quartz. |
