Diaspore : AlO(OH)

Mugla Province, Aegean Region, Turkey

A stunning, twinned, crystal that has very good olive-green color, total gemminess, and glassy luster. Very good for the species and unusual in that the twinning is so tightly oriented along the c axis instead of the more common fishtail style from the locality. (color is better in person) 1.8 x .6 x .4 cm
