Mugla Province, Aegean Region, Turkey A stunning, twinned, crystal that has very good olive-green color, total gemminess, and glassy luster. Very good for the species and unusual in that the twinning is so tightly oriented along the c axis instead of the more common fishtail style from the locality. These crystals were rescued from a gem cutter who was going to facet them. Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x2.5x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-3 cm. |
