The crystals look hexagonal, but are in fact, parallel growth. They are LIGHT GREEN FLOURESCENT and PHOSPHORESCENT! This undamaged piece was collected in the early 1980s by Henry Fisher from the Lime City Quarry and the locality is now closed. ...

	Stoneco quarry (Maumee Stone Quarry; Maumee Quarry; Lime City Quarry), Lime City, Wood Co., Ohio, USA Medium blue crystals of translucent celestine (celestite) in complex cluster on limestone matrix. The celestine crystals are lustrous and have asymmetric beveled terminations and have partial coating of strontianite microcrystals. Good color, no damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-24 mm.
