Shaft 250, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

This specimen consists of a rich, solid mass of Native Arsenic that hosts complex crystals of bright ruby red Proustite. The Arsenic exhibits botryoidal forms and subtle, concentric layers in some areas. The Proustite crystals are highly lustrous, gemmy, and very brightly colored. Specimen size is 4.5cm x 3.9cm x 2.26cm.
