Hematite : Fe2O3, Feldspar Group

Jølster, Sunnfjord, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway

An 8 mm platy crystal of hematite partly covered by some brown stuff. The specimen was collected by the Norwegian collector Bjørn Skår from a large boulder at a road construction site near Skei. It is now in the micromount collection of OT. Ljøstad.
