A VERY RICH and showy specimen of gold microcrystals on drusy quartz-covered matrix on this EXCELLENT specimen from historic Rosia Montana, Romania. Some gold crystals are golden bright, while other are a rich, mellow yellow. A nice contrast for a mine that was worked by the Romans. Ex. Chris Korpi Collection.
