Naipa mine, Alto Ligonha District, Zambezia Province, Mozambique BERYL var. Morganite with Lepidolite, Naipa Mine, Alto Lighona, Mozambique. A tabular, hexagonal, somewhat corrodded peach-pink beryl crystal, 7 cm across the pinicoid face. Imbedded in one pinicoid and one prism face are several well formed books of pale lavander lepidolite and a minor amount of green tourmaline. |
