Kara-Chagyr Mountain, Fergana, Fergana Valley, Alai (Alay) Range, Osh Oblast, Kyrgyzstan Light-blue crystalline crusts of Ankinovichite - the Ni analogue of Alvanite - from the type locality. Khaidarkan (Chaidarkan) Sb-Hg deposit, Fergana Valley, Alai (Alay) Range, Osh Oblast, Kyrgyzstan An interesting pseudomorph of a starburst-like cluster of the rare mineral Gaylussite having been rplaced by Calcite. This very well formed pseudomorph is better than most of the of these specimens that I've encountered in the past few years. specimen size = 4 x 4.3 x 3.2 cm. |
