Cleator Moor Iron Mines, Cleator Moor, West Cumberland Iron Field, North and Western Region (Cumberland), Cumbria, England, UK

Spray of slender, translucent aragonite crystals up to 4 cm long. Internal inclusions of minute 1 mm hematite(?) inclusions give a grayish coloration. Most of the crystal tip are cleaved. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-4 cm.
