Black ruler-like Aegirine crystals, up to 1,7 cm long with green Apatite and brown tabular mica (very rare Spodiophyllite X or 'only' Phlogopite X on the top and right side of specimen) in white Natrolite. Specimen size 4 x 2,5 cm.

Aegirine and nepheline form aggregate - tinguaite. This morphological variety of tinguaite is named "turtle tinguaite". Not too abundant variety. Polished surface 6x5 cm. Selfcollected on Takhtarvumchorr plateau over Molybdenum mine in July of 1991. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.

Section of large grain of black aenigmatite partialy surrounded by coronite agregate of bronze astrofillite in greenish microcline matrix. Associated minerals are raspberry-red eudialyte and very minor grey nepheline. Juvit pegmatite within massive apatite body. Specimen size is 11x9x4.5 cm. Width of field is 5.4 mm. Collection of Jesse Crawford. The depth of field has been enhanced using Helicon Focus (9 exposures). Equipment: Nikon D-100 digital camera on a homemade microscope. Black aenigmatite with brown astrophyllite.
