Dark blue azurite bowls of 4 mms in diameter on dolomite and quartz, in association with malachite. Specimen size about 3.9 x 3.2 x 2.3 cms.

St Gertraudi, Brixlegg - Rattenberg, Brixlegg - Schwaz area, Inn valley, North Tyrol, Tyrol, Austria

4.2 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm. An excellent and showy Austrian combination specimen from a less well-known locality - St. Gertraudi, Tyrol. A rich field of very sparkly azurite microcrystals is aesthetically set on iron-stained, bladed barite and nicely complimented by a scattered bit of malachite.
