Spessartine : Mn2+3Al2[SiO4]3, Muscovite : KAl2[(OH)2|AlSi3O10]

6 mm zoned spessartine crystal included in muscovite. The red-orange circle is probably poorer in Fe than the surrounding area of the crystal. Transparent crystals such as this one are rare at the locality.

Interesting 5 mm orange-red translucent spessartine crystal, which surprisingly did not break while being exposed from the muscovite.
