Cerussite : PbCO3

Flux Mine (Goshen Mine), Flux Gulch, Alum Gulch, Harshaw District, Patagonia Mts, Santa Cruz Co., Arizona, USA

4.7 x 4.3 x 2.4 cm. The Flux Mine (lead and other minerals) goes way, way back - and there is no reason why this classic American cerussite may not be a century old. It has the usual jackstraw form, with pearly bunches of tightly-grouped, slender crystals, here perched on a really nicely-trimmed matrix.
