Kali Kafi Mine (Kale Kafi Mine), Anarak District, Esfahan Province (Isfahan Province; Aspadana Province), Iran A neat locality and association specimen consisting of a 8.3 x 6.9 x 4.8 cm matrix, this vuggy throughout and with colorless tabular barite crystals to 1.6 cm in size. There is yellowish crystallized mimetite present as well, along with minor hemimorphite and calcite. Ex Peter Gillis collection. |

Chah Milleh Mine (Chah Mileh Mine; Tchah-Mille Mine), Chah Milleh (Chah-Mileh; Tchah-Mille), Anarak District, Esfahan Province (Isfahan Province; Aspadana Province), Iran Sharp, triangular steeple-shaped cerussite-willemite pseudomorphs after descloizite crystals to 3 cm tall with minor wulfenite micro crystals scattered throughout. Minor white calcite. No damage. Fluoresces under UV illumination. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm. |

It is a beautifully reticulated, very lustrous and complete IRANIAN cerussite from the collection of Sam Nasser. This is something you just do not see around - and this one could easily be confused with a Tsumeb cerussite. Could have used another photo from the ... |
