Sorosite : Cu1+x(Sn,Sb), where 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.2

Gland, Nyon, Vaud (Waadt), Switzerland

Sorosite hexagonal prism from heavy mineral sands. The mineral was found in a concentrate of native gold and cassiterite. The mineral is partly stained by iron oxide/hydroxide.
