Cassiterite : SnO2

Hooten Wheals (Hexworthy Mine), Two Bridges, Southern Dartmoor, Dartmoor & Teign Valley District, Devon, England, UK

Concentrate panned on site in the brook from dirt scraped off the dressing floors. It has a very orange almost golden colour. There's about 10 grams in the pot. for reference the neck of the pot is 22mm diameter.
(As an aside I was able to pan very small quantities from silt in the brook too though I've kept that separate).
