A superb miniature sized combination piece from this prolific locality. The specimen consists of a dark green opaque terminated grouping of prismatic elbaite. 10.9 x 9.0 cm.

A very choice and aesthetic specimen of white xls in parallel growth. The xls seem to be of two generations with a slightly more translucent and lustrous, doubly terminated, "core" and more opaque satellite xls growing on both sides of the main xl.

Beryllonite. Vasco Trancoso collection. Size: 7 x 6 x 4 cm. A large and very interesting specimen of this rare species, with vertical striations running up and down. Good, large example. It is very impressive and translucent, as well.

7.0 x 2.2 x 2.4 cm. Beryllonite is a rare sodium, beryllium phosphate found in granitic and alkali pegmatites. This is a very choice and aesthetic doubly terminated specimen of translucent white crystals in parallel growth from the famous pegmatites at Paprok, Afghanistan.

5.9 x 5.9 x 4.2 cm. A complete, large, uncontacted and undamaged, gemmy crystal of morganite on matrix. This light pastel-pink crystal measures 4.8 cm across, and is a beefy 2 cm thick. It is highly transparent through the center. The crystal is cupped in a perfect setting of stark white, bladed cleavelandite.

CHILDRENITE on Microcline, Pavrok, Kunar Province, Afghanistan. A crust of well-formed, reddish brown childrenite crystals up to 2 cm long, partially coating one face of a well-formed lustrous white microcline crystal. Small cream-colored apatite crystals are scattered amongst the childrenite. 11x4x2.5 cm overall size.
