Platy semi-lustrous colorless slightly translucent tabular crystals of albite to 2.0 cm in size mostly covering matrix. In very good condition damage-wise; nice for the species. Ex Gene and Sally LaBerge collection. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 30:150. Size: 4.7 x 4.5 x 2.9 cm

Doubly-terminated crystal of pale blue aquamarine beryl. There are two contacts with intersecting crystals (very clean and naturally crystallized) but the crystal surfaces are lustrous and undamaged. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #223. Overall size of mineral specimen: 24x10x6 mm. Size of individual crystals: 24 mm.

Beryl (Var: Aquamarine) : Be3Al2Si6O18

Single crystal of gemmy aquamarine beryl without matrix. Both terminations are missing, this is a segment of a longer crystal. The sides have a complex, striated pattern. Overall size of mineral specimen: 45x15x10 mm. Size of individual crystals: 45 mm.

4.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm. A cutter-quality gem crystal of tourmaline from Brazil, which actually has an interesting color banding to it. The close-up shot you see is through the more spectral green section, which is actually a wide band between two sections of a vivianite-like bottle green. It has a fine, sharp pyramidal termination. A beautiful cranberry red transparent single terminated glassy elbaite crystal measuring 4.2 x 1.1 x 0.8 cm in size overall. Complete all around 360 degrees; some natural etching is present. No damage. Ex Gene and Sally LaBerge collection.
