Superb transparent blue aquamarine beryl crystal 3 cm diameter with white albite crystals around the base. The crystal is amazingly transparent. When viewed through the termination a complex pattern of internal growth lines are clearly visible. Undamaged
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3 cm.

Elbaite : [Na][(Li,Al)3][Al6][(OH)3|OH|(BO3)3|Si6O18], Muscovite : KAl2[(OH)2|AlSi3O10], Albite : Na[AlSi3O8]

Dark green elbaite crystals to 5.5 cm. Therystal to lower left is muscovite, 2.5 cm long. The white clusters of plates on the elbaite is albite. Doug Merson photo and collection.
