The visit card of Burpala alkaline massif is its britholite-(Ce). It form masses up to some metres long in nephelin-syenite pegmatites. Here you see chunk of massive monomineral britholite-(Ce) 10.5x5x2.5 cm. Its weight is 225 g and its radioactivity 2176 μR/h. Collected in 1991. Pavel M. Kartashov collection (#3225) and photo.

Tritomite-(Ce) crystal in fenite matrix. Section parallel to L6. Crystal from weathered surface of rock and is partialy replaced by microcrystaline yellow bastnasite-(Ce) with outlined inner structure of metamictization of the mineral. FOV is ~12x10 mm.
