Solita Mine, Peramea, Baix Pallars, Pallars Sobirà, Lleida (Lérida), Catalonia, Spain 7.0 x 3.4 x 2.5 cm. Vivid pink to purple, translucent, botyroidal cobaltoan calcite encrusts poorly sorted conglomerate matrix on this striking and pretty old-time specimen from a long-closed Spanish locale - the Solita Mine in Catalonia. Rare and seldom available. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with an old faded label. |
