Consolidated Durham Mines and Resources Ltd. Mines, Lake George, York Co., New Brunswick, Canada Dubbed the "Antimony Danish" this specimen is the only one from this famous 1986 find that had bright lustrous xls. All the other antimony xls were coated with Valentinite and Senarmontite, as is the one in the upper left corner. Specimen size is 17x12x4.5 cm. Consolidated Durham Mines and Resources Ltd. Mines, Lake George, York Co., New Brunswick, Canada Antimony crystals with calcite crystals 5.0x4.3x3.2cm Largest antimony crystal is 11mm across. This specimen was pictured in the Mineralogical Record in the article about this location. pparently, there were only about twenty or so specimens recovered from the open space in the vein. |
