Lushi, Lushi Co., Sanmenxia Prefecture, Henan Province, China An 11.3 x 3.8 x 9.3 cm matrix plate of crystallized iron stained drusy quartz, the front side mostly covered by large tabular colorless to rust colored partly iron-stained crystals of barite. The barite crystals measure to 4.5 cm in size; in great shape overall with only minor microscopic chipping present along a couple of crystal edges. Overall ... |

Dahegou Mine, Lushi, Lushi Co., Sanmenxia Prefecture, Henan Province, China Group of tabular barite crystals up to 45 mm, with numerous acicular crystals of stibnite to 26 mm in length replaced by brown stibiconite scattered about the barite crystals, on a matrix plate of crystallized iron stained drusy quartz. Lushi, Lushi Co., Sanmenxia Prefecture, Henan Province, China Exquisite flawless quartz crystal 3 cm long with a pale blue rectangular fluorite crystal 13 mm on edge attached to the side. The rear of the quartz is coated with thin white calcite crystals. Beautiful! Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x2.5x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-35 mm. |
