	Morenci Mine (Morenci pit; Phelps Dodge Morenci Mine; Morenci-Metcalf), Morenci, Copper Mountain District (Clifton-Morenci District), Shannon Mts, Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA 5.7 x 3.8 x 3.7 cm. Antlerite is an UNCOMMON copper sulfate. This showy and excellent specimen is nearly solid microcrystalline to massive green antlerite and is a RARE occurrence from the Morenci Mine of Arizona, better known from Chile than the USA. Hefty for its size at 103 grams (lots of copper). Ex. George Elling Collection.

	Morenci Mine (Morenci pit; Phelps Dodge Morenci Mine; Morenci-Metcalf), Morenci, Copper Mountain District (Clifton-Morenci District), Shannon Mts, Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA A SUPERB Arizona azurite, with two wonderfully-formed crystals, complete and undamaged all around, stacked atop one another. The crystals have intense blue color, NOT blackish, and sharp faces everywhere. The specimen looks great from almost any direction, with any orientation. Some of the azurite rosettes are scuffed on the outer surfaces. Very colorful specimen. Overall size of mineral specimen: 30x20x20 mm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.

	Morenci Mine (Morenci pit; Phelps Dodge Morenci Mine; Morenci-Metcalf), Morenci, Copper Mountain District (Clifton-Morenci District), Shannon Mts, Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA Matched halves of an azurite nodule that was split open to reveal fine druzy blue azurite crystals lining the internal shrinkage surfaces. Old find, now difficult to obtain. This is one of the largest I obtained from an old collection. Collected ca. 1970. Overall size of mineral specimen: 24x21x17 mm. Size of individual crystals: .1 mm.
