	Navidad Mine (Mina Navidad), Rodeo, Mun. de Rodeo, Durango, Mexico 8.5 x 7.8 x 7.2 cm. A superb, small cabinet specimen loaded with intergrown balls of creedite and covered with gemmy, burnt-orange to colorless crystals. This is a beautiful and aesthetic specimen with absolutely very few broken crystals, for such a large piece.

	Navidad Mine (Mina Navidad), Rodeo, Mun. de Rodeo, Durango, Mexico As with the pink fluorites from the same locality, until these creedites were discovered, good crystallized specimens were exceedingly rare and expensive from ANY locality. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. Then, a couple of months back, we heard that the mining was FINISHED, supposedly for good. ...
