	Jos Plateau, Plateau State, Nigeria 5.0 x 1.0 x 0.9 cm. A superb, pristine, complete gem crystal from find sin the mid-1980s. Note the steep termination, classic for beryls from the Jos Plateau! Most of these were cut in the day, treated to enhance the color and butchered for gems. Weight is about 45 carats. Ex. Charlie Key.

Beryl (Var: Aquamarine) : Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈
	Jos Plateau, Plateau State, Nigeria 4.2 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm. This is such a richly colored Aquamarine crystal it really should be called "Blue Beryl". In addition to the color, the crystal is incredibly gemmy (nearly 95% gem quality) with good luster some attractive pyramidal modifications to the termination. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.

	Jos Plateau, Plateau State, Nigeria 6.7 x 0.7 x 0.7 cm. A fine aquamarine gem crystal for Nigeria, very gemmy, with a silky luster, a sharp termination and sharp prismatic faces as well.
