Schlema, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany The quality of this Barite cannot be denied: the light golden color is complemented by excellent luster and superb doubly-terminated habit. This is an uncommon specimen for a common species, in that it is really a truly fine thumbnail in and of its own aesthetics....even if it were bigger, couldnt be better! 3.5 x 2 x .8 cm |

Schlema, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany This is a solid, hefty spcimen composed of large and sharp bismuth crystals to over 1 cm, completely covered by a druse of secondary bismuth. On them, are perched silvery-bright crystals of Clinosafflorite , and I think also a few small galenas. It is a very attractive specimen, more so in person. 5.5 x 4.6 x 3.6 cm |
