Cordierite : (Mg,Fe)2Al4Si5O18

Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, Kinki Region, Honshu Island, Japan

Sakura-Ishi, Cherry Blossom Stones. Smallest stone is 0.4 cm in diameter, largest is 0.7 cm. These are cordierite crystals substituted by mica, recovered from weathered hornfels.
