	Power's Farm (Bower Powers farm; Ryland Crary farm), Pierrepont, St Lawrence Co., New York, USA Several intergrown black crystals of uvite tourmaline mixed with a few milky quartz crystals. The uvite tourmalines are undamaged, very lustrous and well formed. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-15 mm.

The crystal has minor edge wear, but is terminated including secondary faces. Good crystal for the locality. Overall size of mineral specimen: 25x25x25 mm. Size of individual crystals: 25 mm.

LARGE, sharp and lustrous, rich chocolate-brown uvite tourmaline crystal from a CLASSIC, OLD US locality - the Power’s Farm, Pierrepont, New York. Essentially pristine, with only a bit of contacting at the base. Great crystallography. Ex. George Elling Collection.

	Power's Farm (Bower Powers farm; Ryland Crary farm), Pierrepont, St Lawrence Co., New York, USA 3.9 x 3.4 x 3.3 cm. This is an old Pierrepont tourmaline, and just a terrific one! The crystal is complete all around, viewable from 360 degrees, and has this unique non-prismatic form characteristic of this classic American locality. A cluster of quartz crystals forms a pretty contrasting matrix for the tourmaline to sit upon.

	Power's Farm (Bower Powers farm; Ryland Crary farm), Pierrepont, St Lawrence Co., New York, USA 4.1 x 2.3 x 2.2 cm. A floater! This is a brilliant, high-quality doubly-terminated crystal, complete all around, and perched on quartz. This is as good as any I have seen for the size. Ex. American Museum of Natural History, Clarence Bement collection, donated in 1910.

Although it looks damaged in two places, one of them is a natural hole with crystal faces inside. The other one effectively is a ding. This specimen was bought by ...
