Scofield Quarry (Michigan Stone and Supply Company Quarry; Borin Brothers Quarry; Woolmith Quarry), Maybee, Monroe Co., Michigan, USA Honey-colored cluster of calcite crystals from what is now called the Stoneco quarry (current owner and operator) at 6837 Scofield Rd, Maybee, Michigan. A rare floater, and of an unusually fine size for miniature collectors, of an American classic: blue-grey Michigan celestine. This complete, translucent crystal, with super luster, came out of the collection of Carlton Davis. |
