Doubly terminated prismatic crystal, transparent and of an good color. The main termination is very rich in pyramidal faces, combined with the flat pinacoidal face. Floater (no point of attachment) cluster of twinned chrysoberyl crystals with no matrix attached. The chrysoberyl is very lustrous with yellow-green-gray color. No damage. Old label from L. Conklin. Overall size of mineral specimen: 2.5x2x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 cm. |
