Wheal Muttrell, Gwennap, Cornwall. 9.5x5.2x3.5cm. A fantastic specimen extremely rich with small red cuprite xtls all over a copper matrix which has been mostly covered with the cuprite and chalcotrichite xtls.

This specimen comprises of hundreds of red octohedral cuprite crystals and red chalcotrichite on possibly a copper matrix as the specimen is a fairish weight, though the copper is hard to see as there is so much cuprite present. The largest cuprite crystal measures 4mm long. There is a K P Hammond label with this specimen. 9.5 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm. ...
