Sperical aggregates of dark tan Calcite (Ferroan) on dark brown botryoidal Calcite on grey, almost black, basalt. The spheres are almost “apple shaped” in that one end of each exhibits a depression similar to that left by a stalk. The radiating structure of the spheres is clearly visible.
