Hunting Hill quarry (Rockville Crushed Stone Quarry; Travilah Quarry; Rockville Quarry; Bardon Stone Quarry), Rockville, Montgomery Co., Maryland, USA

Coalingite on serpentine with small hydromagnesite crystals on left side of photo. This Coalingite specimen consists metallic-looking flakes. Usually the Coalingite at Hunting Hill is fiberous. Collected by J. Wingard 10-04 and in my personal collection. Specimen is approximately 12 cm across.
