Christian-Levin Mine, Essen, Ruhr Coal Mining area, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany 1mm spray of Cotunnite crystals. The Cotunnite was formed when ascending chloride rich waters hit a Galena pocket in this coal mine. Note how fresh the Galena still is. |
