Wolfram Mine, Pittong, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia Tiny pale yellow crystals of sulphur on a deep blue layer of covellite. Photograph taken in 2004. Five years later, the greater part of each sulphur crystal has vanished and only a little of each remains, almost unrecognisable. Field of view: 1.7mm. |
