An elongated, doubly-terminated yellowish xl, measuring 3.9x0.5cm perched on the termination of deep green ELBAITE xl.

From the Gravel Hill quarry, radiating clusters of whitish danburite crystals. Field of view: 6mm. This occurrence is in calc-silicate rocks within metamorphosed fine-grained Cambrian greenstones.

An interesting historical note about this locality: Supposedly the mineral was first discovered in the tomb of a cacique (a native Indian chief) where they had been placed as jewels to signify that he was rich. 4.2 x 2.7 x 2.5cm
