Coyote Peak, Orick, Orick District, Humboldt Co., California, USA

Thin section view of orange-brown cores of richterite rimmed by dark green eckmannite, and associated lighter green aegerine. The cavity is filled with natrolite.Width of field 2.5 mm. Plane polarized light.
