A twinned crystal of tapiolite, originally purchased as "tantalite" from Brian Cook in 1985; x-ray diffraction proved this to be tapiolite. Size 2.4 x 2.0 x 1.3 cm.

A recent find. Crystal has bigger size than usual for this uncommon species and has faces and edges quite sharp and bright and contrasting with the matrix of Quartz and Muscovite.
