Alchuri (Alchori; Aschudi), Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan 4.2 x 2.2 cm. A superb, exceptionally lustrous, transparent, light yellowish, tabular xl displaying an incredible "Faden" type inclusion and also has a few small acicular deep green ACTINOLITE xls as well. Although the find was relatively large, few were without any trace of damage, as this one is! |

Alchuri (Alchori; Aschudi), Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan Two gemmy, yellow-green, tabular apatite crystals, 1.2 and 1.7 cm across, on a matrix of blocky white albite crystals. Minor chlorite in matrix. 7x6x4 cm overall. |
