Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal

Translucent, green-gray fluorapatite crystal 8 mm across on matrix with three greenish-brown siderite crystals up to 8 mm. Very clean, no damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 22x21x15 mm. Size of individual crystals: 5-8 mm.

Nice floater cluster of composite silky-lustered opaque green hexagonal crystals of apatite to about 2 cm. There is a group of zoned creamy flat prismatic 2-mm. crystals of siderite envelopping a couple of lustrous black crystals of sphalerite to 0.7 cm.
