Sugary purple Fluorite on limestone. FOV ~12mm. Fluorite of this kind is rarely encountered in several Findlay Arch localities. I have specimens from Lime City, Clay Center and Newport (Thomson McCully). |

Lustrous near transparent amber colored cubic fluorite crystals to 3.2 cm on edge forming an inter-locking cluster with very thin minor matrix attached at the base. Measures 4.9 x 3.5 x 3.3 cm in size overall. A slight chip is present on the lower right hand side crystal corner, otherwise perfect. This is very nice for fluorite at this ... |

Two cubes of light yellow fluorite on gray limestone matrix (3.5cm by 1.6cm) from the Stoneco quarry, Lime City, Wood County, Ohio.
