Junnila mine, New Idria District, Diablo Range, San Benito Co., California, USA 1.1 x 0.8 x 0.6 cm. An aesthetic thumbnail of gemmy, lustrous, sharp, burnt-yellow to peach-colored fresnoite blades from the Junilla Mine of California. Fresnoite is RARE barium, titanium silicate and this is a cutie. From finds in the mid 90s, and not found in this quality since. |
