	Goslar, Harz Mts, Lower Saxony, Germany Image width about 7 mm. Green glauconite in a cretaceous sandstone (\'Hilssandstein\'), an ugly mineral but an interesting one, as it is one of a few sedimentary minerals that are suitable for radiometric dating (K-Ar).
