This is the infamous Amphibole Grunerite, a variety of Asbestos that is the cause of Mesothelioma, a disease that is caused by inhalation of the microscopic fibers of Grunerite. This material is also called Amosite, which is the fibrous variety of this material, of which the type locality is this mine.
