N'Chwaning II Mine, N'Chwaning Mines, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa 3.9 x 4.2 x 2.9 cm This specimen consists of at least three intergrown black hausmannite crystals with associated pale yellow thaumasite, deep red blades of gaudefroyite (most evident on the back of the specimen) and a small cluster of orange andradite crystals perched on top. |
