Knob of white aragonite completely covered with yellow-brown mimetite. Originally acquired from Bob Jones in 1975, with later note in 1987 stating that Jones believes it to be the Hedyphane variety of Mimetite - not pyromorphite as originally labeled. Ex. Dr. E. Potosí Mine (El Potosí Mine), Francisco Portillo, West Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico

Knob of white aragonite completely covered with yellow-brown mimetite crystals. Originally labeled as pyromorphite, most likely this is Hedyphane variety of Mimetite. No damage. Ex. R. Eaton collection (Rochester, NY). Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x6x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-4 mm.
