Knob of white aragonite completely covered with yellow-brown mimetite crystals. Originally labeled as pyromorphite, most likely this is Hedyphane variety of Mimetite. No damage. Ex. R. Eaton collection (Rochester, NY). Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x6x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-4 mm. |
