Tiny Helvite crystals grown on top of a phantom plane within a quartz crystal. Size of the largest helvite 0,3 mm. B. Ottens decribes on his CD 'Fascination of the minerals from China' the occurrence of Helvite inclusions in Quartz. Associated with the quartz ist scheelite.

This is a fine quartz crystal, actually with a clearly visible phantom inside it - and right above the phantom, in the clear, gemmy area of the quartz, float these bright yellow crystals of the rare manganese-beryllium silicate helvite! Little ding on top the quartz, but hardly matters since this specimen is not ...
